Remotely Disconnect A Session From the Command Line: Windows Server

  1. Go to the Command prompt
  2. Type "qwinsta" for a list of logged in users
  3. Locate the "ID" for the account you want to disconnect
  4. Type "rwinsta [ID number]"
  5. Run "qwinsta" again to ensure that the user was disconnected
