InDesign CS2 or CS3 locking on SING at startup

Problem: ID CS2 and CS3 lock on the startup splash screen when the pre-launch checks reach the SING plug in.

Solution: change the permissions on the SING folder

sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Application Support/Adobe/SING
