In Amsterdam we had a problem where the print spooler was repeatedly stopping on the server. The fix was to translate TT fonts to bitmap in each printer's advanced settings (right-click on the printer and go to properties)
More details:
The printer drivers were upgraded, and used PCL5 rather than PCL6, this
stopped the print spooler from crashing.
A symptom arised that people were getting garbage printed out when
printing from Outlook (other apps OK). This issue was resolved by
forcing the default option of printing TT fonts as bitmaps.
